What Is the Floral & Warm Fragrance Family?

Floral & Warm fragrances typically smell floral first or have a clearly noticeable floral character, with a softer and deeper background that prevents the scent from feeling purely light or airy. Jasmine and tuberose can create richer floral effects, while rose and orange blossom can range from fresh to sweet and full-bodied. Vanilla and amber add warmth, musk can soften the composition, and patchouli can provide a drier earthy base. Some perfumes in this family are gentle and elegant, while others feel richer or more enveloping. The important point is the balance between recognisable floral character and a warm supporting structure. Floral fragrances are commonly modified with fruits, woods, spices and warmer materials in wider perfume classification systems as well.
