Floral Fragrance Notes

Floral fragrance notes cover a much wider range of smells than simply sweet flowers. Rose can have fresh, green, fruity or spicy sides, jasmine can feel rich and full, while materials such as Hedione create a lighter and more transparent jasmine-like effect. This category groups individual floral notes for reference and should not be confused with Luxaro's Floral & Warm fragrance family, which describes the overall character of finished perfumes.

The Floral category brings together individual fragrance notes that smell like, come from or recreate different flowers. It includes natural floral materials as well as flower-inspired accords and modern fragrance molecules. Because flowers vary so widely, floral notes can smell fresh, green, airy, powdery, creamy, sweet or rich rather than sharing one single floral smell.
